This saddle combines some of the best attributes of the other American Heritage Saddles. It has straight slope to the swells but slightly lower cantle that holds the rider securely during a day's work but doesn't grip too tightly. The single skirt keeps the weight light at only 29 lbs. Rigging is in-skirt to eliminate bulk under the fenders and forward of center to keep the rider's weight over the horse's center of balance. Roughout leather takes a little longer to break in, but adds security to the rider and helps keep a saddle in the light weight category. The texture of the roughout finish on American Heritage saddles is hand buffed for smooth yet secure grip that helps balance and security without rubbing or chafing.

Rough riding is made easy with roughout jocky and fenders to give a young rider's seat a good grip when making tight turns and short stops. The horn is tall and easy to grip.

Cantle has lovely Cheyenne roll with silver lace. Back cinch mount is lined with silver border and beautiful engraved German Silver conchos decorate the sides. Stirrups are rawhide covered with leather lace and foot pad.

Back billet is double layer and stitched leather. Underside is deep synthetic fleece.

And the whole skirt is beautifully hand-tooled with a combination basket weave with floral border.
