Simply Clear can be used in conjunction wiht AlgaeFix, but should be added after AlgaeFix to maintain the pond’s natural balance.

When first using Simply-Clear, the pond may appear slightly cloudy. The excess nutrients in the pond may trigger the bacteria in Simply-Clear to become very active. As the bacteria consume the nutrients the water will clear.

Simply Clear Pond Cleaner can not be shipped to Hawaii at this time.

Koi and goldfish excrete ammonia from their gills. Urine and solid fish waste break down into ammonia. Decaying plants and algae also release ammonia into the pond. Uneaten fish food will also decompose and release ammonia into the pond. Ammonia is toxic to fish. Chronic exposure to low levels of ammonia will damage the gill tissue. This prevents normal gas exchange across the gills. Fish will become weak and susceptible to a variety of diseases. High levels of ammonia will result in rapid fish loss.

Ammo-Lock is patented formula instantly neutralizes both chlorine and chloramine and effectively "locks up' any potential ammonia or immediate ammonia up to 5 ppm per dose. Although ammonia will still be present in pond water, converts the ammonia to a form that is nontoxic to aquatic life; this nontoxic form actually serves as a source of nutrition for nitrifying bacteria in the biological filter. Ammonia build-up can occur whenever starting a new pond, before biological filtration becomes active, or when there is inadequate biological filtration.

Directions For Use: Add five teaspoonfuls (25 ml) of Ammo-Lock for every 100 U.S. gallons (378 L / 83 UK Imp. Gal.) of pond water. Treat the pond with Ammo-Lock BEFORE adding tap water to the pond. One dose of Ammo-Lock will neutralize 2.0 ppm of chlorine and 1.0 ppm of chloramine
